Our Himalayan Apfel Strudle uses Jasmine, blended carefully with our Kangra green tea. Kangra green tea is one of the best green teas produced in India. Both cardamom and green tea are touted for their health benefits. Our Cardamom green tea has an invigorating aroma, and is a very easy to drink tea. This intricate herbal tea is layered with citrus notes and musty/ earthy flavor notes, with a slightly pungent, aromatic flavour profile. It is a warming tea, designed to beat the cold and soothe you from the inside.

Green tea itself is rich in powerful anti-oxidants and catechins that protect skin cells, lower LDL (bad) cholesterol, boost metabolism, and enhance working memory. Adding cardamom can be helpful for digestive problems, nausea, loss of appetite, and detoxification. Cardamom is also used as a breath freshener post meals, which makes this tea a great option post meals. This pungent spice may help prevent and relieve cold and flu symptoms and is also known to significantly reduce blood pressure.
- Scoop one teaspoon (~2gm) of The Apfel Strudle green tea into the infuser for one cup.
- Pour in freshly boiled water (ideally at 180°F)
- Let it brew for 3-4 min. Stay close to this steep time for optimal flavor.
- Pour through a strainer and savour the aroma and flavor of this classic tea.
- Use again and again, you can steep this tea 2-3 times.
